Superstar Mahesh Babu, the chief guest at the audio launch function of Akhil Akkineni's debut film, Akhil, drenched the  debut Akkineni star with praises. Speaking on the Audio launch, Mahesh thanked the film's director VV Vinayak for introducing the next big and young star in Tollywood industry.

Akkineni percener Akhil Akkineni's debut film ‘Akhil’. Dances of Akhil are the big part, while dialogues are good. His body language just stunned, while emotions are rocking and style is shaking. Being a launching hero, he tried hand at all the departments in acting well. The films trailer says that the story is about a Zua tribe that lives near by equator Africa and how Akhil helps them solve a bigger problem. Heroine Sayesh Saigal is also cute and glamorous. On a whole the trailer is stunning and wins masses' hearts.

                                                     Mahesh then said that Akhil has a fantastic screen presence, which he noticed in his very short cameo in Manam. Recollecting his phone conversation with Nagarjuna, Mahesh said that Akhil stole the entire show with just his one minute act.

Mahesh finally praised the film's trailer and said that it's outstanding. While it was nice of Mahesh to congratulate and wish the upcoming star, the Akkineni family, in turn, reciprocated with equal warmth while on and off the stage.
