About Ram Pothineni: Ram is an Indian film actor who has acted in the films of Telugu and Tamil languages.He entered the film industry in 2006 through the bit hit film Devadas.He was born on May 15^th 1988 at Hyderabad in Andra Pradesh .His father’s name  Murali Mohan Pothineni the nephew of noted film producer Ravi Kishore Pothineni, popularly known as Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and his mother’s name is Padmasree Pothineni.

Beginning Life: Ram has started his acting career at a very young age of 12 years. He acted in a short film by name ‘ID’ in Tamil and was awarded “The Best Actor” among 120 films screened from 60 countries at the European Film Festival conducted at Otten, Switzerland. Ram receive the opportunity provided to him and continued his commitment, sincerity and dedication in performing the lead role of the film Devadasu. The telugu film industry suddenly found a young and dynamic person with a lot of acting ability. He is known to be the 'Youngest Hero of the South'. The Telugu film industry noticed the new talent with awe and admiration. And the audience made it a big block-buster creating a history of running 175 days in 17 centres for a debutant hero. when he got a second opportunity in the film Jagadam, But not well his performance.  

Then he did his third film Ready for his home banner 'Sri Sravanthi Movies' which turned out to be another block-buster for him and is the top grosser in the USA..His next film, Maska, had high expectations due to his earlier hits. Maska co-starred Hansika and Sheela. It was directed by B. Gopal (Samarasimha Reddy, Indra fame). It is produced by 'Movie Special' Raju. It is a surprising combination with Chakri as a music director. . He then appeared in Ready alongside Genelia D'Souza.  Ganesh  in 2010, Ram had only one release, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna directed by Srivaas. Ram's next film Kandireega was a big blockbuster of 2011 and was done remake in Hindi as "Main Tera Hero".In 2013, Ram had yet another release, Ongole Githa with Kriti Kharbanda. He next starred with Daggubati Venkatesh in Masala, the remake of the Hindi film Bol Bachchan.Recent movie Pandaga Chesko, opposite Rakul Preet Singh.

 “SHIVAM” Shivam is an upcoming 2015 Telugu film directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Ravi Kishore. The film features Ram and  co-strrer Rashi Khanna in lead roles. The film is under Sri Sravanthi movies banner. The poster of the film has been recently released. The music is given by Devi Sri Prasad. Shivam may be hit the screens during October 2015.
